Engelbert
Use the tool TransEdit ... with his instructions (member area). Senderscans can be made in a convenient way and sorted at own discretion with that. One also can if necessary help the transponder files on the jumps. Quote Link to comment
Magnifico
thx, Engelbert TransEdit worked fine...see results in attached file. I tried a lot of software under Xp sp2: dcdvbsource+zp,terratec home theater, MPC etc... I wonder why Transedit (that looks like DVBViewer for device recognition) works fine and no DVBViewer. No hardware avaible. thx for help for such a basic thing (or bug??) mp_t2.ini Quote Link to comment
Engelbert
The drivers of your card are correctly registered. Delete the hardware.xml. Read the Readme.PDF to the PRO (members area)! One has not leave on <auto> but adjust tightly under DirectX video and audio decoder. At present this one recommends himself for PowerDVD 6 or 7 as a video decoder of Cyberlink (Trial suffices), as audio- and AC3-Decoder the Ac3Filter: http://www.free-codecs.com/download/AC3_Filter.htm Switching 'Open whole transponders' under hardware off. The transmitter list of TransEdit shows a pawning of 167 kHz. Freewiev in England ? Local transponder list available? Edited September 9, 2006 by Engelbert Quote Link to comment
Magnifico
thx Engelbert, it works fine now, I have got all my channels here :-) freeview in Paris not in London... In fact, lets me explain my goal for using DVBViewer ; I used to watch my DVDs on PC with ZP+ decoder video (dscaler) + post processor video (ffdshow raw) + decoder audio (ffdshow audio -including AC3)+ audio renderer (reclock). and it is really fantastic compared to ALL other players I tried... What I want to do now with DVBViewer, is to use video post processing (ffdshow) for TNT (MPEG2 first). My first problem now is that I cant choose ffdshow as video decoder: it does nt appear in the list. Second pb: I can choose ffdshow as post processor but it stops DVBViewer and I have lost sounds in my PC, i had to reinstall audio drivers!. I have tried already 2 versions of ffdshow...I know some people here use ffdshow, I m gone ask them...maybe with graph edit and so on. Quote Link to comment
Engelbert
DVBViewer PRO/GE I use at the PC and for Record; Cyberlink PDVD7 (video decoder) and AC3Filter (MPEG audio + MPEG AC3 decoder, no postprocessor).. My DVDs I check also with ZP. FFDSchow I don't hardly know and need it. Sorry. Quote Link to comment
