boborg
When scanning for feeds it's useful to use a frequency not in the transponder list so I set it to None. But how can I change Polarisation H/V ? Quote Link to comment
Griga
You don't have to. DVBViewer tries H and V. Quote Link to comment
boborg
OK then it must be something with my system cause when I try a vertical transponder with transponder list set to None it only scans Horisontal in the status window of channel scan. If I choose the satellite and use the transponder list it scans the frequency fine with vertical displayed in status window of channel scan. Basically transponder list set to None always equals scanning Horisontal only for me. Any ideas? (Skystar 2 with the latest drivers) Same in DVBViewer Pro and GE Edited September 17, 2006 by boborg Quote Link to comment
Griga
I've just tried it with DVBViewer GE 2.0.2, SS2 driver 4.3: - The polarisation field in the status area of the scanner tab shows HOR and VER alternately. Does it only show HOR in your case??? - I get H and V results from Astra 19° E. Is DiSEqC involved? Quote Link to comment
boborg
4x Spaun DiSEqC is in use yes. I'm using Driver 4.4.0.0 I'm not running Technisat Server4PC. It does only show HOR in my case yes. For all transponders I scan using the transponder lists it does scan/show HOR/VER. But as I wrote only HOR is displayed/scanned when set to NONE and vertical stations are then not found. Scanning a vertical tranponder from the transponder list finds the channels without any problem. Edited September 18, 2006 by boborg Quote Link to comment
