Beta 3.5.41 and FireDTV-C

Installed beta 3.5.41 ... hoping it would resolve the "No TV3" problem as described in other threads on this site... instead it resulted in no video and no audio for ALL channels... this has also been the case with other beta releases. It seems that everything but video/audio is working fine (EPG, graphics, channel list etc.)

Sometimes (Very rare) when I start DVBViewer it works for the first channel but when I change channels = No video/No Audio

To make sure that it is not my Media PC - I have bought a firewire card for my office PC and installed my FireDTV-C tuner and DVBViewer 3.5.0 - tuned for all available channels which works fine and I can watch all channels - except TV3!!! But when I apply 3.5.41 - No Video/No Audio!

I have revertet to 3.5.0 which still has the "No TV3 problem" :-( which should be solved in this new beta release.

I have attached support.zip, debug.zip and NoPicture.jpg showing a screenshot of my black screen :bye:

Someone else must experience the same thing with the FireDTV-C tuner????

Hardware:

Pentium 2,8 GHz

1024 MB RAM

500 GB HDD

XFX GeForce 7300LE (Nvidia)

FireDTV-C tuner (Firmware 1.2.2)

Viaccess 4.84 CAM

TDC KabelTV smartcard

Codec:

Cyberlink Video Codec from PowerDVD 7 / Nero Purevideo

Drivers:

FireDTV-C Version 2.3 light

Software:

Very clean installation of Windows XP = no other software that DVBViewer, MediaPortal and MyTheatre installed. Mediaportal and MyTheatre has no problems showing all channels - but DVBViewer delivers the best picture quality and has a nice and fast interface - so I'm very anxious to get DVBViewer working.

I don't think it's a general DVBViewer problem, cause users reported the dvb-c firedtv as working (again) with danisch cable TV.

try setting the audio decoder in options-> directx to the cyberlink decoder, remove all plugins from the plugin folder and test it with this settings. There is nothing out of the ordinary in your debug.log, everything seems normal.

Tried the suggested things... didn't help - unfortunately :bye: ... it just seems strange to me that 3.5.0 is working flawlessly (except for the TV3 issue) and when I apply 3.5.41 - it doesn't - on both my PC's?? This should eliminate the possibility that something is "wrong" on my media PC. Could it be related to the English version of Windows XP I'm running on my PC'`s?

I have made a backup of the 3.5.0 installation ... and I can easily start this version instead - and it works nicely ... I don't get it.

Is there some issue with the new 1.2.2 firmware on the FireDTV unit?
