breez
The problem is with the timing of DVB subtitles. Timing is usually several seconds off on Finnish YLE channels and varies (ie. sometimes on time, sometimes way off). According to a poster at DVDPlaza forum the delay between DVB subtitle picture and video in the stream varies (on YLE) and therefore the fixed delay setting in DVBViewer doesn't help. A suggested solution is to buffer the DVB subtitles and display them according to the timestamps in the stream. As a comparison, the VideoLAN player (http://www.vlc.org) has correct timing for .ts files recorded from DVBViewer. The problem exists in current stable and all newer betas. Quote Link to comment
