Dual monitors and dvb viewer

zum

Recommended Posts

Have annoying problem with my dual monitors and DVBViewer. I have Nvidia graphics and two LCD panels.

DVBViewer is working fine with twinhan dtv alpa usb receiver on primary monitor. But when I move that to second monitor where I want it to be. Dvb viewers picture will go blank but sounds are still working.

Draging it back to first monitor and picture is back easily.

Any suggestions?

Hello,

please use an other Video Renderer like VMR7 or better VMR9.

Options -> DirectX -> Video Renderer.

:bye:

Thanks for solving my problem!

I changed Video renderer to VMR9 and it caused dvbv crash. I searched and found that vsync on can cause problems using VMR9. And it surely did! Turned it off and crashing disappeared.

:D Thanks a lot!

How do you configure, that DVBViewer starts one time at one monitor, the "next" time on the other monitor?

EDIT: When I change to VMR7 or 9 the image is a small (top left hand corner) and noice is below and on the right side...

I unfortunately only have image on the primary display with "Overlay Mixer".

Hello,

sorry in german (Den DVBViewer auf einem bestimmten Monitor starten lassen.).

But the important thing is.

Load the Launcher, and put it in the DVBViewer installation folder.

Rename one Launcher_left.exe and Launcher_right.exe.

And now two Lauchner.ini files, one Lauchner_left.ini and the other Launcher_right.ini

Launcher_left.ini

[Einstellungen]
xmin=0
xmax=10
ymin=0
ymax=10
xreset=100
yreset=100

Launcher_right.ini

[Einstellungen]
xmin=1
xmax=1
ymin=1
ymax=1
xreset=1381
yreset=100

now you start the DVBViewer only with links to the Lauchner.exe

When I change to VMR7 or 9 the image is a small (top left hand corner) and noice is below and on the right side...
you have a nvidia card?

Use the "NVidia Fix" in Options -> DirectX, or take off the Hardware Accelerator of the Video Decoder.

yes but its a limitation of Overlay.

Thanks, this helps! But -

Now, "Bildlage und Größe" (Image location and size) are not functioning any more...

And - the quality of the image seems to be worse with this setting.
