pastimer
Hi, i'm testing 3.6 in client-server mode and i cannot get it stable. It seems to me that the problem is in the sourcefilter because i have tested with various graphs and the problem is ever the same. After a few seconds or a minute max the viewer just stops and must be restarted. It cannot recover from an error so it seems. I'm using filter version 2.8.2, which is the latest i think. I am receiving perfect video with vlc and atm i disable video in DVBViewer and use it as a channel-switcher:) I can even receive bbc-hd, but with the same problems. There mignt however still be another problem as well: The server says it sends about 9500Kb and the viewer says it receives about 19.2Mbits, about double. Even VLC cannot keep up with those bitrates in HD and starts to complain about my hardware but i'm never over 75%cpu. Anybody else with the same problems? Any suggestions for settings on the sourcefilter and any general suggestions are more than welcome! Quote Link to comment
Derrick
..it won't solve your problem but the server is sometimes showing weird bit rates. It has nothing to do with doubling the rate, that's for sure Quote Link to comment
