How to disable the CI ?

In some circumstance I have to disable the CI in order to avoid conflict with other "applications"

I was not able to disable the CI by going to > Settings > Options > Hardware > “Has CI Module” and to uncheck it. To take out the CAM every time is not a good idea due to the fact the CI and CAM are very fragile.

 

I was able to disable the CI only by renaming the ttApi.dll file.

Is there any better way to do it in the DVBViewer menu?
