Keep timeshift buffer

I often use the Keep Timeshift File option to keep something that I was watching live. However, I often forget to turn it off again afterwards. The feature I request is a temporary (i.e. one-off) Keep Timeshift Buffer option that keeps the current timeshift buffer, but then turns that feature off whenever you change channel.

 

Perhaps this could be integrated with a "Record with timeshift buffer" feature that records the current contents of the timeshift buffer, and then continue recording from that point on (and then allowing things like channel change etc.)
