Delphi
Since the FireDTV people has solved the QAM256 problem I have used DVBViewer for about 3 months as HTPC in my living room (37" LCD). What a nice experience. I have found only 2 bugs! .... At least I think they are bugs 1 The teletext subtitles displays about 2 seconds too early when I play a recorded TS-file. Same problem with timeshift. No problems when watching live TV. No problems with DVB subtitles. It is always so, even on different PC's with different decoders. This is actually quite annoying. When the Danish mixed DVB and teletext subtitles are broadcasted, the teletext subs often comes on top of the DVB subs. But even teletext subtitles only is not good. I tried to play a TS-file in VLC player, but got no teletext subs (I did select the teletext subtitle track). Then I burned a DVD (ProjectX, DVDAuthorGUI). Playing this DVD (PowerDVD) the (from teletext) subtitles were in perfect sync. To me this suggests, that the TS-file is somehow OK. According to yourself you have programmed most of the subtitle stuff more or less blindfolded. Well Done. I can post (snailmail) a coupple of DVD's if you want me to: 1 with the TS-file 1 with the DVD authored files 1 with mixed DVB and teletext subtitles 2 I use the MCE remote and have assigned the Options-->Input-->Favorites-->Station Plus/Minus commands to the ch +/- buttons on the remote. Most times I have to press the buttons several (up to 10!) times before any action takes place. Keyboard keys assigned to these commands always works the first time. According to the HidTest utility, my remote sends the right command to the PC every time I hit a button on the remote. A bit off topic One thing I really enjoy is the fast channel switching (without tuning immediately) using the Up/Down keys. Is it possible to have this with the Favorites-->Station Plus/Minus commands? Thank you for reading support.zip Quote Link to comment
