maybournr Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 Hi, I've just installed DVBViewer 3.6.0.2 using a TechnoTrend Budget 1500 satellite card with CI module and Canal+ (France) viewing card. Everything works fine, I can receive encrypted channels - however I cannot receive the English language audio tracks for films broadcast on Canal+ Cinema. I know they are broadcasting the original (English) audio on PID 89 and French audio on PID 88 but when I tune to audio PID 89 and View the DVB Source filter info it says: Audio State : No data / Connected. I have tried installing and using the ac3filter1.11 - but it makes no difference. Any ideas, please? Quote
Derrick Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 support.zip please Do you have both channels in your list? Otherwise take the attached ini. There can be different reasons provided your settings are ok. Maybe the DVBViewer or CI-driver only sends the the 1st audio channel to the module. Or you tried when there was no 2nd audio channel.. maybournr Posted January 17, 2007 Author Posted January 17, 2007 Yes, I have both channels in my Channelist after performing a full scan of Astra 1, and both audio versions were being transmitted at the time (I can get the English audio on my separate Aston satellite receiver). I have been able to receive alternate audio on other encrypted channels for example an American TV series on Canal+ which is transmitted in both French and the orginal English versions - it just seems to be films that are the problem which makes me think that maybe it's something to do with AC3/Dolby Digital soundtracks?
