Netstreaming Plugin

Hi Everyone,

 

I'm new at using DVBViewer, but have purchased the Pro version and am trying to get the Netstreaming Plugin to work on my LAN.

 

BTW, it is a great program and has been working very well. I am using a SkyStar 2.6d tuner card with the 4.4.0 drivers.

 

I have the plugin configured with the default settings for multi-cast, (can't get anything to work with uni-cast) and can see in the information tab of the plugin configuration screen that packets are are being sent and received, across the network. I can see them passing through the firewall, and have the firewall configured to allow UDP packets on port 2345 to pass through.

 

I can open VLC Media Player on the DVBViewer machine itself or on my client computer which is running Xandros Linux, and get the same error.

 

This is the error:

main private error: cannot pre fill buffer

 

I can't seem to figure it out, and if it only happened on the Linux box, I would be looking there. But because it happens on Windows XP-Pro, I don't know what might be the problem.

 

I would just install the streaming webserver and use it, but half the machines on my LAN are Linux, and I would rather use VLC if possible. Same problem with just using DvbServer and DVBViewer clients.

 

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
