no teletext even though it is listed as a channel?

Teletext appears in the channels list but when I click on it there is no image/picture on the screen?

The channel scan says there is teletext! - but I can't see it?

I'm using hauppauge win TV nova-t-500 with windows XP PRO-SP2 and all updates.

I also have a brand new external digital aerial and new freeview box and the teletext works fine on that setup!

any ideas?

Also there is NO APID/VPID? = How to obtain?
