mitsu
When watching a .wmv file with DVBViewer 3.6.1 AC3 filter is not activated. AC3 is set as the preferred audio filter. With other players (like Media player classic) and DVBViewer 3.6.0 filters are selected OK. My default audio filter chain is AC3Filter -> ReClock -> SB Live 24-bit External. hackbart
Ack, this is no bug. Please read the chapter inside the manual about directshow. And use the Radlight Filter Manager to increase the merit value of your ac3filter. Quote Link to comment
mitsu
Ack, this is no bug. Please read the chapter inside the manual about directshow. And use the Radlight Filter Manager to increase the merit value of your ac3filter. Well, what is different between 3.6.0 and 3.6.1? 3.6.0 works fine here but 3.6.1 does not. For some reason only .wmv files do not activate AC3filter with DVBV 3.6.1. All other files I tried do (.ts, .mpg, .avi). All other player do activate AC3Filter also with .wmv files (BSPlayer, Windows Media Player 10, Media Player Classic). Anyway here are the facts: Filters used with 3.6.1 and .wmv AC3Filter properties: ReClock properties: So, what do you propose to have in the AC3Filter merit value? Higher than which filter? Gioxy
Also for me, with v. 3.6.1 the AC3Filter isn't used anymore with both MP3 files and WebRadio, despite it's "imposed" everywere in the Options (MPEG2, AC3 and DVD)... FYI, listening a WebRadio: with v. 3.6.0.2 with v. 3.6.1 MPEG Audio Decoders: --------------------- AC3Filter: 40000000 MPEG Audio Decoder: 03680001 CyberLink Audio Decoder: 00601000 Edited February 13, 2007 by Gioxy Quote Link to comment
Derrick
I didn't try this but there's something else that bothers me a long time. People have asked how to reach to the filter management via the menu. In full screen mode it's not possible with the Pro to get there via the context menu. But with the GE you can find it in 2 steps. Please do something to have more consistency between the twins. ps. I don't get it.. ..now it's working Quote Link to comment
