Recording service 1.0.5 problems

i'm using the recording service 1.0.5 on windows 2003 server sp1

with hauppauge nova se2.

works fine.

but the service always forget his timers when i restart the server.

So my question is:

- where does he store the timers?

- can i edit the channel list?

- i think the epg data is not complete, do i have to download epg manually? (i dont work with DVBViewer itself)

 

Please answer my questions!

I think you should propably first read the readme for the service. Most answers are in there.

 

1. you get epg only if you tune a channel (or another channel on the same frequency) once in a while (depending on the epg data the station transmit)

2. The service uses the settings of the DVBViewer. To adjust them use the viewer.

3. Edit the channellist with the DVBViewer.

4. the service uses the timers.xml of the DVBViewer. storage place is depending on the usermode.
