Richard Holland
I'm running DVBViewer 3.6.1.7 The hardware is an HP xw4400 Workstation, with an nVidia Quadra NVS graphics card with 128M RAM. DirectX 9.0c, and dual-head DVI or VGA screens (same fault with both connection types). Terratec Cinergy 1200 DVB-C PCI tuner card. With all directX acceleration features enabled, I find the following bug (not present on the Dell machines we've tested on). Starting DVBViewer on primary display, DVBViewer will work, but won't tune in the last viewed TV channel. To get pictures you need to select a TV programme that is on a different MUX. Then all works normally. Starting DVBViewer on the secondary display has the same problem, but when you attempt to change channels, DVBViewer hangs. Disabling DirectX Direct3D acceleration stops DVBViewer from crashing, but still exhibits the fault that it won't start displaying the last viewed tv station. Testing with DirectX fully enabled using Terratec's own software and it all works perfectly. As does using DVBViewer in the same configuration on various Dell PCs set up with two monitors. Anyone got any ideas? Many thanks. support.zip Edited February 21, 2007 by Richard Holland Quote Link to comment
