Well, you can get a bigger favourites list right now!

For example on your desktop with TV logos as icons or in any Explorer window - unlimited, see here.

Or create a special favourites list in the channellist window with a simple trick that hardly anybody knows - just by adding a category called "Favourites" there. Proceed as follows:

Select a channel in the channellist window that you want to include in your personal favourites list. Go to the Edit tab, change the category by entering "Favourites" and click the Add button. Repeat this for all your favourite channels.

Now switch over to one of the favourite channels and close the channellist window. After that, simply click the channellist symbol in the toolbar and you'll see your new favourites list, very easy to access, with one mouseclick... but one drawback: If you're watching a TV channel which is not part of the new category, the channellist window will not open with the favourites category unfolded right from the start.

Cheers
