gand
I'm having a problem trying to demux H264/AC3.TS files from DVBViewer. When using XmuxerPro, setting start&stop-points will give me another final result than expected. I will need to test with another timepoint to give the correct cut I need. ie: visible start-point in Xmuxer 00:00:48:06, when using the demuxed file it would actually turn out to be 00:00:20:00. So to achieve a correct cut I will have to set the start-point to 00:00:48:06+00:00:20:00 = 00:00:68:06. The same problem occurs with the stop-point. When using a H264/AC3.TS-file created in Alt-DVB, I get the correct start&stop-pointers as the visible frames shows. What is the difference between DVBViewer and Alt-DVB? Is there some other demuxer-software more suited for DVBViewer? I've tried TSPlayer, H264TS_Cutter, HDTVPump, TSconverter and TSPE all showing the same behaviour with start&stop-pointer faults with TS-files from DVBViewer. Any help appreciated, I really like DVBViewer and would want to continue using it with DVB-S2 sources. Thanks Quote Link to comment

What is the difference between DVBViewer and Alt-DVB? You tell us With identical TS_PID_selection there can't be possibly any difference... Quote Link to comment
dezzy
Is there some other demuxer-software more suited for DVBViewer? Have you tried ProjectX? I find that it demuxes .ts files, repairs some broadcast defects and preserves/repairs the sync of all streams, video, audio and subtitles. However, I have not tried specifically on H264 files. I'm using it all the time with mpeg2 sources, nothing better imo. Too bad it doesn't work with h264. Mpeg2.ts files from DVBViewer seems to have the same problem as h264.ts files in xmuxer, though not a problem as projectx will handle start+stop cutting of mpeg2 without any problems. Mpeg2 files from Alt-DVB doesn't show the problem in xmuxer. I don't know why. If anyone want to try with my sources of TS-files, I'd be happy to supply them. Thanks Quote Link to comment
dezzy
If anyone want to try with my sources of TS-files, I'd be happy to supply them. OK, I will try. Please attach a file to a post or tell me how to get your file. I should ask why you need to demux? What do you intend to do with it? Edited April 7, 2007 by dezzy Quote Link to comment
Peter Weis
If i try to demux a Transportstream File from Premiere HD or Pro7HD with XMuxer it shows only the Video stream and no Audiostream, but the original TS-File contains the Audiostream also (tested with PowerDVD). I use the Testversion for 21 Days. Peter Quote Link to comment
