duncanfox
It would be good if DVBViewer could scan between two different frequencies and list the results of what has been found in terms of frequency, symbol rate etc rather than just by language, programme provider name. This would make it better for satellite feedhunters etc where it is useful to have a fast scan over say 10,950 to 11,200 GHz and see the results listed by frequency, polarisation, symbol rate and provider name rather than video/audio etc etc as is now the case Prog DVB does "sort of" allow this now but not very well Quote Link to comment
Griga
This would make it better for satellite feedhunters Sure Well - the audio/video structure is deeply rooted in the DVBViewer code and can not be changed easily. But it's no problem to categorise by frequency instead of provider name while scanning. The coming DVBViewer release will provide such an option on the Scan tab (and additionally a "FTA only" option). But I can't see any sense in categorising by symbol rate or polarisation - you'll get a whole lot of channels in each category, not easy to survey... Anyway - that's how it's gonna look like: Griga Quote Link to comment
