Lakeuk
Is anyone experiencing high pitched sound on CNN (Astra 28) with DVBViewer Pro, I've viewed the same channel using the TE version that came with my card and the sound for CNN on TE is ok. Comparing the settings on each application the details looks the same - anything a miss? Griga
high pitched sound on CNN (Astra 28) with DVBViewer Pro You are searching at the wrong place. Most likely caused by the CNN mono sound and an audio decoder that isn't able to handle it correctly without getting this information beforehand (MS MPEG Audio, I guess). There are two ways to fix it in DVBViewer Pro. Go to Settings -> Options -> DirectX and 1) select a better audio decoder, if available (recommended) or 2) tick "Audio Format Detection". However, this will slow down channel switching a bit, because it lets the DVBViewer Filter analyse the stream before playback starts. Quote Link to comment
Lakeuk
Thanks, so simple - changing the audio decoder from <system default> sorted it Quote Link to comment
