topcaser Posted May 3, 2007 Share Posted May 3, 2007 Hallo. ich habe gerade meine erste DVD mit Pinnacle gebrannt. Leider kann ich diese im DVBViewer nicht abspielen. Ich hoere zwar den Menue Ton, der Bildschirm bleibt aber schwarz. Somit kann ich den Film nicht durch klicken einer Schaltflaeche starten... Mit PowerDVD geht alles....Leider laeuft meine Testlizenz in 5 TAgen ab:-( Quote Link to comment

Welche Daten werden da eigentlich alles vom Rechner gesaugt mit der Support.zip? Ja, den Cyberlink Decoder habe ich eingestellt unter den DVD Optionen... Quote Link to comment
hdv Posted May 4, 2007 Share Posted May 4, 2007 Hallo, welche Dateien das SupportTool einsammelt steht doch alles im verlinkten Beitrag. Das hab ich mühevoll zusammen getragen und keiner liest es. Ausserdem kannst du ja in der hochzuladenden zip nachschauen was alles drin ist. Wenn du nicht möchtest das jemand den letzten Sender sieht, schalte vor dem ausführen vom SupportTool ARD ein. Wo werden meine Einstellungen gespeichert? PS: installieren besteht daraus, das heruntergeladene zip in das DVBViewer Installationsverzeichnis zu entpacken. Quote Link to comment

In Windows Vista I have navigation problems. (see here ). For some strange reason I have to choose "System default for Mpeg audio decoder in the DVD options. Although by viewing normal DVB streams I can choose any installed audio decoder. Strange. Video and audio is OK using Cyberlink video decoder in DVBViewer for DVD, but the navigation sign (bullet or selection mark) in the DVD root or sub menu's isn't visible. So I have to click with the mouse in the menu's. Using Dscaler Mpeg2 video decoder all seems OK. But sometimes the sign jumps to the previous selection. Very annoying! In Windows XP -> AFAIK everything was OK. I am considering to install Windows XP sp2 again on a different partition on my sytem. DVBViewer options: --> Dirext X: overlay mixer / WMR 7 --> VMR 9 is to choppy in DVBViewer --> DVD options: 1) Mpeg video decoder: * Cyberlink Video/SP decoder (PDVD7) * Dscaler Mpeg2 video decoder ( dscaler website ) 2) Mpeg audio decoder: * system default Quote Link to comment

I can only hear the audio of the menu but neither can click anything of the hidden menu nor can start the DVD Video at all... In the meantime i have installed Nero 7 and this tool is also able to play the DVD correctly... Quote Link to comment
w8andc Posted May 9, 2007 Share Posted May 9, 2007 (edited) @topcaser: Indeed watching DVD is all OK by Nero 7 and PowerDVD 7 Ultra in Windows Vista. Ironically, the included Windows Mediaplayer 11 doesn't play DVD's at all. A messagebox pops up when starting the DVD entry. The message tells me to change some video settings before I can play a DVD. What the f*** ! Something is going terribly wrong with this media player. Concerning playing DVD with DVBViewer and the combination Windows Vista: there are incompabilities which have to be solved. Hopefully a solution will be found.. PS: my system * Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 @3Ghz * ATI X1600 Pro (512 MB - AGP) * RAM 2 GB DDR II @667Mhz * AsRock 4coreDual motherboard * integrated Realtek soundchip (ALC888 chipset) / Terratec aureon space 7.1 (plugged in --> very basic Vista driver at the moment -- no SPDIF support) * sound connected to DENON receiver * using DVBViewer to watch DVB-C / DVB-S/S2 * using Alphacrypt Cam (3.11) / standard Irdeto Cam Edited May 9, 2007 by w8andc Quote Link to comment
