As topic says..I'm really bad at german.. ;)

 

I just want to know, if the new Nvidia-cards offload the cpu with H264 as they are advertised to do. On DVBViewer of-course.

 

I know they work with PowerDVD and BluRay.

Currently there is only one configuration that works for sure:

 

Vista + DVBViewer GE + Enhanced Video Renderer (EVR) + CyberLink H.264 Decoder (>= 7.2)

 

As the DVBViewer Pro Edition does not have support for the EVR, acceleration does not work there.

 

nVIDIA has announced a driver for Windows XP (may/june) where H.264 acceleration is supposed to be accessed through the Video Mixing Render (VMR).
