Playing .evo files

I would like to play .evo files (HD DVD 1080p) with DVBViewer. They play fine with PowerDVD but I would like to see subtitles as well using VSFilter which seems not to be possible with PowerDVD. Files play with DVBViewer but no audio. Haali splitter seems to be able to produce proper video stream but there is something wrong with the audio. There is some kind of audio stream but not sound and probably no data.

 

Any advice? Some other splitter available?

Most of the HD audio formats evo files have don't have a working codec yet, so they'll only work if they have dolby digital or the like. Even then there are often timing problems.

 

You just have to wait for better codecs unfortunately.
