topcaser
Hi all, i would claim myself as an experienced beginner with respect to watching television via PC. I have gone really a long way to get to the current situation: First i tried Vista, bought another OS - XP - and tried there a lot. I have got now a configuration with XP which lacks all jerkey playbacks if i watch a movie: I am living in europe, germany, and using a Twinhan Mantis TV card on an ABIT Motherboard NF-M2-nview with onboard graphic (Geforce 6150). I have connected my LCD TV (LG L2BR) native via DVI to that Motherboard. The Graphiccard sends (thanks Powerstrip) with 75Hz. I am using reclock to adapt both frequencies - the graphic and the sound card. I have an AV receiver connected to the SPDIF where i use PCM out for the sound. As Software i am using DVBViewer Pro. The MPEG decoder is Cyberlink and the Audio Decoder AC3 Filter. It is all right with this configuration. Nevertheless: If i watch soccer, you can not wath to it, because it is really jerking. If i watch to the treadmills on the news channels it is also not really fluent. Nevertheless - the soccer thing is really annoying. Has someone a tipp for me what to do next? Quote Link to comment
