Hello

Tried the new v3.8.0.0 version and

i found a problem with the EPG settings in the Channel Editor window.

On some channels the uncheck of "DVB EPG" & "SFI MHW(+) EPG" + Update

is not remembered after restart of DVBViewer.

Steps to reproduce on my channel setup:

1) Tune Channel SVT1

2) Channel Edit->SVT2->EPG->Uncheck 1st & 2nd EPG->Update

3) Close DVBViewer

4) Start DVBViewer

5) Check EPG Settings on channel SVT2 -> All three options checked...

Also, tried to turn off "Autoupdate Channel" and a completly new channel scan

with same results...

Attacthed my channel.dat also.

Uninstall the Rec.Service 1.1.0.0 (that should have be don by the setup) may be that is the reason for the problem.

This Version of the Rec.Service did not work with 3.8.

You should although only use Task Scheduler or Rec.Service not both.

Tried uninstall+delete leftover files + fresh install, default settings, a new scan, sort SVT1 as channel 1, svt2 as channel 2

same problem, epg settings is lost on SVT2 when restarting DVBViewer.

You do press the update button after the change? I tried it with your channel list everything works as exspected...

1) Yes, i press update

2) Well, i does not work for me, problem occurs when tuned channel = 1 and the edited channel = 2, then restart...

(if tuned channel=edited channel it does work until next restart)

Worked fine in previous version 3.6.1.0

Thanks

checked it with your channellist and it works.

Try:

In DVBViewer -> about -> configfolder.

Close the viewer.

in the explorer window open the database folder

rename the TVDatabase.db file.

start the viewer and try it again.

does this help?

Tried your suggestion and renamed the TVDatabase.db, but it didn't help...

Channel 1 + 3 + 4 works, channel 2 + 5 the egp setttings is lost after restart

Don't know if this helps...

Dumped the new TVdatabase.db in sqlite after edit channel 1 to 5, and after restart (when settings lost)

(values doesn't change)

INSERT INTO channelEPG2 VALUES(563250602904206,4);

INSERT INTO channelEPG2 VALUES(563250602183615,4);

INSERT INTO channelEPG2 VALUES(457564342912106,4);

INSERT INTO channelEPG2 VALUES(563250602903106,4);

INSERT INTO channelEPG2 VALUES(563250601263507,4);
