Hi, Does anyone one if windvd 8 platinum work with DVBViewer. I bought the full version. It seems to get a bit of a slagging off on some sites.

I have to say, thus far, media player seems to work better then windvd. Does anyone else use this software.

 

I was using an Nvidia 6600 with purvideo. this was working not too bad. But I now have an Nvidia 8600 which should be better. I tried the beta drivers, did not appear to work very well. So tried the latest released driver (XP) and re-installed purevideo. This seems to work well with media centre and media player, with very good picture.

However it seems to stutter in winDVD 8 Platinum.

 

Have I just thrown away 42 quid. WindDVD seems to work better with hardware acceleration un ticked. This could be down to drivers of course.

 

Any info would be appreciated.
