Venice HD

There is a new HD channel on Eurobird 2 9E - Venice HD ,according King of Sat , but getting only sound. Anyone have success to get and picture

 

any success ??

The format of the video stream is wrongly indicated. According to data it is mpeg1 video, which apparently it is not. DVBViewer tries to connect a mpeg2 graph, which of course fails except for the sound. What the vidoe is concerned, the user is fooled by the source filter

Also found on 40 East some russian MPEG 4 channels , trying with Transedit - no any success to receive them . Any idea?

..no, we can't. But it should be in the provider's interest to repair the fault

..some more information. The H264Reader is looking further than the pes_headers and is analysing a h.264 video stream. The graph of a TS_recording shows that mainconcept is recognizing the video correctly. Alas only a green mess is shown (a little of the picture can be seen)

 

The settings shown by the DVBViewer filter are wrong. I consider this as a bug

Now I've got. It's much easier than I thought, thanks to DVBViewer

 

..here's the recipe:

 

change video type from mpeg2 to H.264 (auto-update channel has to be switched off !) and enjoy (with cyberlink)

Yes , now works fine ,thank you very much .

I changed deinterlacing to force wave and picture is OK .

Did you check about MPEG 4 channels on 40 East ?

The best combination for me:

CoreAVC 1.5.x as H.264 decoder.

Cyberlink Audio decoder.
