aydan
Hi, I'm normally running DVBV in high priority without problems (normal doesn't do it for me because i frequently get discontinuities in the recordings) but somtimes i experience system hangs with this setting. for example just recently when opening a recording with a paused DivX in the viewer. the hang was resolven only after i set the task priority to normal, which took me about 10 minutes because the system wal awfully slow respponding. the viewer was using close to 100% CPU. I think this might have something to do with a busy waiting cycle in the viewer. It wuld be extremely helpful if the "above normal" process priority setting would be available. uglyrooster
Look for a tool called "ProcessTamer". It is even possible to reduce the respond time or to set other priorities. Quote Link to comment
