new driver 4.28 & dvbviewer Technisat edition ;-)

Hi! I've downloaded the new driver 4.28 for Skystar2, from http://www.t-data.lu/ and this version haven't TV4PC, instead they have DVBViewer Technisat edition. I've the latter version 1.99r8.

Which version is DVBViewer Technisat edition?

I am not sure which version is it, but it definitely has less features compared to the full version

Try the driver from the TechniSat site.

The TechniSat Edition of the DVBViewer has been updated too, as far as I know. See wether it provides scanning and PVA recording - if yes, it is the new one.

 

Nevertheless many features of the full version are missing - e.g. the TE is not able to use Marfi's source filter, that means no timeshift, no PIP preview... no drag & drop sorting in the channellist window... it doesn't contain the plugin interface of the full version (only channellist import plugins)... and so on.

Am I the only one who cannot download from Technisat at the moment? The ftp seems to be down.
