pastimer
I understand that the developers do not want to put energy in enabeling EVR for the pro version. From what i've read in the forum, it's understandable too. However, those that have vista and a dxva2 capable device are not happy since the PRO version does not support it. A resolution to this problem could be to enable the GE version to support the client devices communicating with DVBSERVER. This would give users the opportunity to use the EVR with HD channels without OSD and still have all the benefits of the PRO version (CI,DISEQC). Would it be possible to enable the client devices in GE without too much effort? (For newbies to this topic: the GE version does support EVR because there is no OSD in the GE version) Regards, Eppo Edited October 17, 2007 by pastimer Quote Link to comment
Derrick
..waiting for network streaming (or CI) in the GE will most probably take longer than waiting for the EVR in the Pro Quote Link to comment
