badtrip
Hi there... I dont have any problem in scanning channels with TransEdit at all. I only have a question about the channel updates.. As we know some channels arre removed and some of them are added. I heard that its possible to schedule DVBViewer to scan channels weekly, monthly.. I think that if i scan all the channels with transedit again, i will lose my favorite list, and i will have to create a new one.. So my question is" is there a way to update transedit's export ini files , in DVBViewer? in channel scan in DVBViewer, i select my ini file and my related sattelite, i'm selectig my frequencies..(the diseqc was selected using transedit in the first scan!) but this time it finds "0 programms"(at this step DVBViewer writes that its a unicast... but i'm runnig DVBViewer in my ss2 installed computer) + i also have the same problem with client while scanning frequencies.. "0 programms" So is there a way to scan from the client? Or if updating original ini file is possible, i wont even need to update client! just to copy my favorite.xml and exported ini file for updates would work for me... What should i do? badtrip
Today i have scanned all my sattelites again using Transedit. İ impoted them to DVBViewer, everything was gonig fine untill, i just found out that when i click a channel from my favorites, another one opens... This was the problem that i was expecting earlier.. Since noone wrote anything, i took my chance! Now my channels gone... (also i have non-found TP's) Please take serious my first post, i have four dishes installed so everytime preparing a new favorite list is not a good idea for me. Cant we update the channels ? Moses
Favorites will be found by their Name, ServiceID and Audio ID (There was a 4th one, I can't remember...)... if they are not working anymore, try to check these parameters. But I don't really understand your issue, I guess. If a channel doesn't change it's transponder or serviceID it should be enough to enabel automatic channel updates in DVBViewer. If you want to add new channels or remove old ones, you need to update your favorites manually anyway.... ? Quote Link to comment
