installing two skystar pci cards in one PC

hello

i was wondering if anyone has managed to install two skystar cards in a windows XP pc at once? i've just tried and am getting a lot of conflicts - symptoms ranging from blue screens, to cards not working at all - and showing as not working in device manager.

both cards are installed properly and work fine when the other is removed.

is there a particular trick to doing this, or is it just not possible?

thanks! will upgrade drivers now and let you know how i get on

:(

thanks again for the help.

i've installed the new drivers, and the cards are now working fine.

but DVBViewer pro still doesn't pick up the new card. i've installed v3.9, which i think is the latest version, but it's still not working. is there perhaps a setting i'm missing?

hi there

thanks for your reply

i've attached the support.zip file

yes, i had tried to rescan for the second card, but it doesn't make any difference.

both cards are definitely working. when i disable one in device manager, DVBViewer works fine, and when i enable it and disable the other, DVBViewer still works.

thanks for your help!

Hello,

in your system is not a driver 4.4.0 or higher installed.

take a look in support.zip -> Systeminfo.txt

System:

-------

DVBViewer Version: 3.9.0.0

DVBServer Version: 3.9.0.0

Skydll Path: F:\WINDOWS\System32\Skydll.dll

Skydll Version: 4.3.0.9999

the SkyDll.dll is now saved in C:\Program\TechniSat DVB\bin\

please deinstall all TechniSat software an driver, after that delete the Skydll.dll in F:\WINDOWS\System32\

restart the pc and make a new installation with a driver 4.4.0 or higher
