timka Posted November 8, 2007 Share Posted November 8, 2007 1. I would like to access quick favorites menu with one button, move with up/down remote and click to tune. I mean floating/transparent popup menu. Similar to recently used channels, with scrolling if possible. I don't know if it's possible to add this with custom OSD/scripts. 2. When I open something in htpcHome (MyMusic, MyVideo, MyPictures) - is it possible to put focus to file list, on first list item? Sometimes it's difficult to put cursor there, up-down-left-right navigation works like you don't expect. 3. MyPictures viewer. I had some experience with MS XBox. They have cool feature in slideshow - when image dimensions differ from screen size they try to take as much of screen area as possible and just move the image to show parts that are hidden. For example: screen size is 400 x 600 image size is 400 x 800 at first we display left part of image (full height 400x600) and move image to the left to show 200 pixels of image right part. I know DVBViewer is mostly dvb related but htpcHome is a great feature and a big plus to this application. So any progress here is appreciated! Quote Link to comment
Moses Posted November 8, 2007 Share Posted November 8, 2007 2. This is completely skin dependent. On some skins the focus travels very bad... you can change that with osd skin editor. You can set the default focus for a osd page, too. In the xml file it's the second line the value behind "default". The list for videos and music is 10. But don't use icons then, because the icon panel is another object with id 11 and you'll lose the focus if the default object is not shown... Quote Link to comment

All are in German section / Member sections of this forum. I use bablefish to read the German section, however you don't have to understand German to see how the OSD screen Looks.
