Dv_
Hi, I bought DVBViewer few weeks ago for using with my TYPHOON DVB-S TV PCI CARD (=Knc1 card if I understood well... ), and it works great thanks to the BDA drivers. Unfortunately, I also have the TYPHOON CI-Module with an Aston Cam which is working perfectly with my Canal+/Canal Satellite card and original software & drivers, but not with DVBViewer + BDA drivers. The "Show Cam" option on the "view tab" is impossible to select ! I'm on Windows Xp Sp2. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
Tjod
Try Start menu>Programme> DVBViewer>Modify DVBViewer Pro Version 3.9.1.0 and select at Additional Components the KNC stuff. Quote Link to comment
Dv_
Hi ! Thanks for the answer, but I already did that ("support for Knc one cards" and "x86 MS VC runtimes librairies for KNC" were both selected during the install process)... "has CI module" is enabled too on Settings/Options/Hardware. Quote Link to comment
ricabullah
What version(DVBV) are you using for now? Quote Link to comment
Dv_
It's v3.9.1.0 now (v3.9.0.0 was previously installed, but problem was already there). Edited December 11, 2007 by Dv_ Quote Link to comment
Dv_
No one has an idea ? What can I try to do ? Quote Link to comment
ricabullah
Sometimes problem could be very simple that you can never consider. Please check connection betwwen CI and card. Make sure you inserted smart card and CAM module very well and in the right direction. Edited December 15, 2007 by ricabullah Quote Link to comment
Dv_
Yep, I already checked that, and as it's working perfectly with Globe Tv + WDM drivers, I don't think it's a connection problem. Quote Link to comment
Tjod
The Cam Support is not specified in the BDA standard. So the support have to be add for each design again. If this is possible for this device only Lars or Christian could say. Quote Link to comment

I've got a cam alston v2 and wanna use it with DVBViewer but each time i put the cam DVBViewer is stuck (it's buggin) it's slowing down XP and I have to remove it. I use a pctvsat ci with the bda drivers of the Twinhan VP1030 DTV-CI Not sure if I would have a benefit with the cam as far as zapping delay is concerned Quote Link to comment

Thanks Tjod, On DVBViewer v3.9.0.0 annoucement, we can read "KNC One: MMI does work now. you need the latest KNCBDACTRL.dll and BDA driver.", it means that cam is supported for this Dvb card with those drivers, doesn't it ? Or did I misunderstand something ? Quote Link to comment
Tjod
You could try to use the KNC One BAD Driver. Quote Link to comment
