doublejay
PAM not PMT -> e.g. Pulse Amplitude Modulation Well........ it was a leading question... What might cause DVBViewer to red-light each of these - despite have a strong signal ?? It's in connection with my earlier post - about it failing to tune a number of channels - that seem no problem to WinTV (Hauppauge )/ http://www.DVBViewer.info/forum/index.php?showtopic=25281 Quote Link to comment
Lars_MQ
Try using transedit for scanning (see membersarea). Maybe the transponderlist is wrong/not complete. Transedit has a lot of detailed setting and you can export the scanned channels to the DVBViewer. Maybe it's the hardware options (-> Stopstream/ new tuning method) which need to be tweaked. There can be some causes for this, but since you did not respect the How to post problems/bugs correctly:Always follow these instructions. Otherwise no one can - or wants - to help you!. (see at the top) it's hard to say. Quote Link to comment
doublejay
Ok here is support.zip plus - i tried transedit - and it just reported visibility of 109 channels. obviously i'll need to take this further - but looks verys promising. does it look like I have screwed up setting for DVBViewer ? how come transedit is seeing so much - if you forgive my ignorance. support.zip Edited March 10, 2008 by Tjod Quote Link to comment
doublejay
I exported the transedtit channel list for DVBViewer. Even though it now has all the data about the signal - it doesn't tune it. Yet all of the channels Preview perfectly in transedit. Quote Link to comment
