Freeview in the UK

I'm searching for information about 2 freeview muxes. On Eutelsat W2 at 16.0°E there are 2 transponders that feed programmes for the terrestrial freeview network. Alas the information is not DVB compliant, e.g. the PMTs are scrambled. But PAT, NIT, SDT are readable, giving a complete picture of the British Freeview network

To be able to allocate the video and audio streams to the different progammes I need help from users who can receive dvb-t freeview. For transport stream IDs 0x3001 and 0x3002 I would like to have the correponding xml files from TranEdit's analyzer. Transedit-> tune to the corresponding frequency -> save as XML. If the files are too big, uncheck Read EIT in the settings for the analyzer.

TID 0x3001 should have the following channels:

Transport Stream ID: 12289 (0x3001)

Wales is a bit of a trek from London :)

I looked on TransEdit and it showed the PMT for the channel named Five, so I recorded 30 seconds of that.

Hope thats correct, if not a few more instructions are needed.

File Name: 2008-04-01_00-20-21__Five--Hidden Agenda.ts

Size: 11MB | Description: 30 seconds

Anything else just ask.

Thx a lot :) That's more than I've asked for. A single PMT_PID would have done, but the whole program is even better. To record a single PID, you have to select this pid (or any combination) on the right hand of the anlyzer and click record. For PSI stream like the PMT this will only take a few KB.

..maybe your signal comes from the Crystal Palace transmitter

Thanks for the info about recording PID using the analyzer

Yes I believe Crystal Palace is the correct transmitter for my location.

It comes up as a name when performing an initial set up for the freeview box downstairs.
