Multimedia keys of Logitech diNovo mini do not work properly

The multimedia keys of the Logitech diNovo mini keyboard do not all work properly with DVBViewer. I've tried to setup in the keyboard mapping for the corresponding actions the keys (learn ..) and for some of them a code is entered but for some not and not all of them do work.

 

- Record key -> this opens allways the Windows MediaPlayer even when "learning"

- Backward key gets the code ch177 programmed on DVBViewer key "previous" and it seems to work

- Forward key gets the code ch176 programmed on DVBViewer key "next" and it seems to work

- Stop key gets the code ch178 programmed on DVBViewer key "stop" but it doesn't work

- Pause/Play key (there is only one) with code ch179 programmed on DVBViewer key "play" but it doesn't work

 

 

There are now some open question I didn't find an answer until now:

- Why do some keys work and others not

- MediaCenter control is only with one Pause/Play butten foreseen and works with MCE but in DVBViewer there are two separate buttons for that. How could this be treated?

- Record button opens MediaPlayer, how could this be redirected to DVBViewer

 

Additionally, sometimes DVBViewer just freezes when using the multimedia keys (forward/backward)

May be it helps to edit the players.ini (...\Logitech\SetPoint\).

But i did not have Test it.

i found this tool. It works great with the diNovo Mini and setpoint 4.40 and Vista x64 Ultimate.

This software unlocks all keys in the setpoint software. So you can use every key.
