DVBViewer has ceased working with Satellite card.

I had DVBViewer all set up and working with all hardware and all channels, all plugins installed etc.

AMD Athlon 64x2 Dual Core Processor 3800+

MSI MS-7185 Motherboard (NVidia chipset)

2 Gbyte Memory

Windows XP SP3 Build 2600 (MCE)

Two NVidia GeForce 7300 GT cards (not in SLI mode)

GeForce driver 169.21 (6.14.11.6921)

Hauppauge Nova Dual DVB-T USB stick (for terrestial viewing)

Driver for above: WinTV-Nova-TD 3.8

Hauppauge DVB-S2 card (for satellite viewing)

Driver for above: Nova-HD-S2 2.121

I could get all the Terrestial DVB-T channels and all the Astra 2/Eurobird 1 channels and everything was working fine. :)

The next day, I could only get the terrestial channels. It would not display any satellite channels. It would not even find any channels when scanning the satellite. :jump:

Despite this, all other products on the PC can still access the satellite, do scans and display channels: WinTV, PowerCinema, GBPVR - even the TRANSEDIT tool!

Removing and reinstalling DVBViewer did not cure the problem.

It was soooo good when it was working, but now I'm REALLY disappointed! :(

Help!

Whatever it was (I think corruption caused by the stand-alone channel editor) all my problems ceased when I destroyed the data folder and rebuilt it from scratch. Will remember to make progressive backups of the data folder in future :jump:
