Recommended Posts

Arte HD channel in Astra 19.2 does not work in DVBViewer. However, it shows correctly in Transedit.

This is how the channel is found in Transedit:

However graph shows that Intervideo is connected to DVBVSource H264 output.

In DVBViewer channel scan does not find this channel at all using the very same

transponder file which is working in Transedit.

This is how the channel is shown in DVBViewer (sent from Transedit):

EXEVersion=3.0.3.0

First of all update TransEdit (-> V. 3.2) and the transponder lists that are contained in the TransEdit ZIP, in order to avoid compatibility issues with DVBViewer Pro 3.9.4. There have been changes in the channellist / transponderlist structure lately.

And this is the Intervideo filter propertly page indicating that video is MPEG2:

No. The filters are only using a MPEG2 format structure for communication when connecting. This is quite common for H.264.

P.S. Keep your old TransEdit version as backup somewhere for comparison purpose. If TransEdit 3.2 is not able to scan the arte HD transponder, read this. A German user with a SkyStar HD PCI got it solved this way.
