SimonP
I feel really stupid but I can't get the Web Interface to work. I installed the files from the members area to my server, set it to port 81, accessed that in IE from my workstation and I get the menus, programme details, etc. but I can't stream any video. It says, "VLC Server is now streaming media. WHEN DONE... click button to stop the VLC Server Stream." but there's no video there. Looking at the source for the 'streaming' page is looks as if I need 'application/x-vlc-plugin' but I'm not sure how to check that. I have the current version of VLC installed on both server and client, ditto for DVBViewer. Any ideas? I know that DVBViewer will start on the server but do I need anything else running - i.e. VLC on either machine and DVBViewer on the client? Edited July 31, 2008 by SimonP Quote Link to comment
SimonP
A little while later.... Hmm, that's odd, it's working in Firefox but not in Internet Explorer. Colour me confused! Quote Link to comment
