No tuning, transedit tunes fine, dvbviewer sees nothing

hi all

 

i have clean installed windows, latest driver for technisat skystar 2. (4.4.3)

 

using geforce 8200 motherboard (xfx) and 8500gt and 175.19 nvidia driver, although i think this is not chipset or codec related

 

my problem is i cant get any tuning action at all in DVBViewer, the PMT light just stays yellow

 

the 3 indicators PAT PMT SDT all flicker in transedit and it gets lock fine, i can even watch tv in the preview window, although even it is in the same directory as DVBViewer i still get error message with dvdbviewer is not present when i attempt to direct import the channels.

 

please help me as my wife will murderme if this isnt going intime for the olympics
