Select save type to channel: .ts or .mpg

I want select system to channel system so it records in that .ts or .mpg file type if there is other select that in hole DVBViewer setup. Also it can be also be in program save system.

 

 

1. Married With Children [MTV3] [.mpg]

2. Devil in Helsinki [YLE Teema] [.ts]

3. Harry Botteri and Church of Cshtietology [NELONEN][.mpg]

4. ...

Why!

 

TS is native DVB Transport Stream as broadcasted. While mpg is not native and is converted, with needed data removed from the TS file. Such as timestamps for corrrect video alignment and others.

Yes I know what TS is... That is not the point in here.

 

Because:

 

1. Yle in Finland sends video in that way so there is subs not in picture.

2. Other channels send stuff with sub all ready in picture.

 

So ts file format makes bigger file but if I record Yle on mpg mode there is no subs. Other channels I can record in mpg mode (because sub is in picture) and its fine all ready. To burn txt to file so I can edit recordings and change to xvid is timely to do, I have no time.

 

So if I can select that what mode some channel records files I don't hav to change every channel ts to mpg to get them then edited.

 

So I want to select to channel so what is recording type:

 

Cannel 1. [X] TS [ ] MPG

Cannel 2. [X] TS [ ] MPG

Cannel 3. [ ] TS [X] MPG

Cannel 4. [ ] TS [X] MPG

Cannel 5. [ ] TS [X] MPG

Cannel 6. [X] TS [ ] MPG
