flatproblem
Hi, Can someone do me a step by step idiots guide to getting a 7-day EPG in the UK? I keep reading 1/2 information like "use the radiotimes xml", HOW do I: a) Find the xml feed? (cant see any links on the radiotimes website) Tell DVBViewer to use the xml file? (can see that each channel has a tick box for "use external EPG" but cant see where to assign that external file?) Many thanks Quote Link to comment
Frogster
Can someone do me a step by step idiots guide to getting a 7-day EPG in the UK? Not much point doing a guide yet as it is still a beta and "work in progress". The upcoming version will be somewhat different. What I can say is that this http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=837707 works just fine today. Quote Link to comment

Many thanks Hi - not able to give you an idiots guide, but slowly working out how to do this myself. I use http://www.birtles.org.uk/xmltv/ to download/ create the xml files & it seems to have grabbers built in. I seem to get 14 days on a lot of channels. I then use Auto Import XMLTV to import into DVBViewer. I have EPG+ installed, but I'm not sure what advantages that's currently giving me - I'm suspect I'm doing something wrong. Trust that helps.
