Aspect ratio set wrong by dvbviewer

When I fastforward in a recording, timeshift or movie playback, DVBViewer sets the aspect ratio wrong. I have a 16:9 display but after fastforward the display incorrectly shows black bars on top and below the picture. I use zoom preset 0 and to get correct aspect ratio back, I have to toogle through the zoom presets back to 0 and then the black bars disappear. This behavior is the same wether I use aspect ratio setting NONE or AUTO. Can this be resolved by any configuration or is this an error?

Possibly DVBViewer or not, possibly a codec problem. Look for an update for your codec, look/ask if others having problems with your codec version choice.

Addition look for an update for your bda tuner drivers also, as this can also affect the problem you have.

I'm having same problems - did you got this fixed?

Nope, unfortunately not. It is still an issue in my configuration. I've gotten used to cycle through the zoom presets after FF/REW to restore the correct AR and haven't bothered to look into it again.
