Error 0x80004002 has just appeared

After working perfectly for a long time, all of a sudden i get the message "Cannot render Mediafile/Pin. Error 0x80004002 No such

interface supported." I get sound but no picture.

I have read in the forums that others have had similar problems but the forum responses are too technical for me to understand.

A simple solution would be appreciated.

The only change that has happened to my PC prior to the error appearing was thaat I removed IE 8 (Beta) and re-loaded IE 7.

I have no idea about :-

exact TV-card modell and useed driver version

type and chipset of the mainboard

graphics card and useed driver version
