Before posting a bug or problem please read the following hints:

1. There is no support for outdated versions! You can download the current release of the DVBViewer Pro as registered customer in the member's area.

In case of problems with the DVBViewer TechniSat Edition (TE) you must exclusively contact the TechniSat support.

2. First of all: Keep calm! With haste you may only worsen the damage or problem.

3. Read the
and/or the FAQ.

4. If nothing applies you should use the search function of the DVBViewer-Forum. Select Search, enter a search item (at least 4 letters), and pay attention to the search options. Make several attempts with different terms; there is a high probability that it is not a new problem and that there's already a solution for it.

5. If your search delivers no results you may ask for assistance in the forum. You should carefully formulate your question, at best take your time and write it off-line first.

Additionally there is the Supporttool, which puts all relevant config files

and system informations into a support.zip file. This file should also be posted.

The support.zip contain the following information (no specific user data).

  • Operatingsystem

  • CPU-type und speed

  • existing RAM

  • graphics card with current driver version

  • list of all registered Audio- and Video Decoder incl. Merits

  • SystemInfo.txt (contains the above hardware/decoder data)

  • setup.xml

  • windowdef.xml

  • hardware,xml

  • PreviewW.ini (if available)

  • Plugins\Audiorecorder.ini (if available)

  • Plugins\VRPlugin.ini (if available)

  • TransEdit.ini (if available)

  • TSPlayer.ini (if available)

  • debug.log (if available)

  • OSD.log (if available)

  • OSDerror.log (if available)

  • DVBViewer.log (if available)

Additionally you should indicate the following:
  • exact TV-card modell and useed driver version

  • type and chipset of the mainboard

  • graphics card and useed driver version

Requests without these information will not be answered!
