CiNcH
Should be enough if you make a wise decoder decision... like CoreAVC. Quote Link to comment
ovidiumarius
Should be enough if you make a wise decoder decision... like CoreAVC. I have install CoreAVC 1.8, channels are open but them not work good - the image and audio are freezing. Can you tell me, please, what setting should I make into CoreAVC to work good? ovidiumarius
How high is CPU usage?Which channel to you want to receive on which satellite/transponder? I try on : Astra 19.2E : transponder 10832 H 22000 5/6 - ORF HD -cpu usage : 78~95 %; 11361 H 22000 2/3 - Arte HD -same CPU usage is 36~94 -few fraction of second stay at 36% but after that is at 94 %; 11914 H 27500 9/10 - Premiere HD and Discovery HD CPU usage 89~99%; Same problems I have on Eutelsat 16E -11471 v 29950 , on Hotbird _MTV HD,SkyItalia and all other channels on all satellites from 28.2E to 45W. On SD channels all goes wright but on HD channles is wrong. Quote Link to comment
Benarty
It's normal that a cpu load of 89% and higher leads to dropped frames....even 75% starts to show artefacts. You should be sure that DXVA is enabled, in other words, hardware acceleration. Mobile means powersaving. The laptop has to be connected to tha AC and not battery mode. And even then, disable power saving for any hardware related to watching digital TV. Maning, videosection, audio section: video controller may not slow down, check if you can disable power saving. Then test again.
