larsras
Hi I have upgraded my HTPC with a SATA controller, and a BluRay drive. After that DVBViewer will not display my DVB-T channels. The EGP seems to be there but the quality indicator is on 59%. If i remove the SATA controller (PCI) then it works again. I have seen that SATA controllers with Silicon Image chip, is doing something called BUS Hogging, so i bought a Promise controller instead. This one is doing exactly the same. Any suggestions to how i can overcome this problem? System is: Fujitsu Siemens Scaleo E, P4 3 GHZ Windows XP SP3 (MCE, but never use the MCE part). 2.5 MB Ram GF8600GT HDD on onboard SATA controller (only 1 port available) BluRay drive on PCI SATA controller. Hauppauge HVR-1300 card with external active antenna. (driver CD 4.6b) Latest DVBViewer. br Lars Quote Link to comment
