Does anyone have suggestions on how it might be possible change channels on a DVB card such as TV Star 2 using the Logitech (Slim Devices)Squeezebox remote control?

 

I have the DVB card in the same PC (running WHS) as the SqueezeCenter media server. I use the WaveInput plugin to stream satellite radio channels across my home LAN to various Squeezeboxes, which works well, but I'd like to be able to select a different station from my DVBViewer favourites list.

 

Currently I'm using a separate IR remote extender and WinLIRC, but that's embarrassingly clunky.

 

All suggestions for a more elegant solution gratefully accepted.
