Prozessorauslastung zwischen 80 und 100%

Ich habe seit Kurzem wieder XP SP3 auf meinem HTPC nachdem ich Vista Ultimate nicht stabil zum laufen gebracht habe. Soweit läuft eigentlich alles ganz gut, ausser dass die Prozessorauslastung beim DVBViewer auf 80-100% ansteigt. Ich nehme an dass dadurch auch das zeitweise Ruckeln zustande kommt. Woran kann das liegen? Falsche Codecs (Power DVD 9)?
