Bad sound

Something has happened

 

I normally record mpg down to disc then take TMPGENC Express to encode to H.264

 

Lately the sound has gone bad, and its the MPG stream created by Dvbviever that seems to be the guilty one.

 

Old recording are ok, fresh ones are not.

 

So for some reason lately mpg streams to disc seems to get noise.

Listening to the same channel (with headphones) live does not produce this noise.

 

Only thing i can connect this with are the latest updates from microsoft.

 

Running Windows Vista Ultimate 32.

 

My next try is to record .ts stream and put it into TMPGENC and see if that helps.

 

Any help in the method I can use to debug this is aprceciated.
